In 1996 I had Grade 1 Uterline cancer diagnosed. At the time I was wanting so much to talk with another woman who had had this however this was not to be. Instead a wonderful email from a woman in the USA was delivered to me and gave me the hope I needed. She had just run a marathon and was 3 years past her surgery and treatment. |

Fantastic. My soul journey has been rich from this experience. I am fortunate to so far not have had a recurrence and I give thanks for that. Its been such a time of gifts and learnings. My life has taken a positively different path because of the cancer. I now am assisting with the facilitation of Cancer Support groups so I can return the grace and love I received.

I chose not to know everything at once. I found that in a vulnerable state poor predictions went right to my heart and and mind and it was difficult to feel a sense of power. Instead I had a friend read all the relevant material and the deal was that only when I asked could she tell me anything. This way I was able to control the information I received. |

Sometimes peoples kindness was exhausting. So installed a fax and that way I didn't have to reply immediately and could send a note through to them when I was ready so they and I could stay in touch. MAKE IT YOUR STORY NOT ANYONE ELSE'S!! Everyone likes to tell you their story or their friend's story. Each of us is very UNIQUE, so your journey is your journey no one elses. Draw on other journey's that empower you. While this was a focus on the physical, my spiritual life was very alive at this time. If you wish to contact me please post with your email and I'll contact directly. This way I can avoid spam. Thank You.
