UTERINE |

Metastatic Endometrial Cancer to the lung. |

Taxol, cisplatin, adriamycin..Now megace |

Had 5 rounds of the chemo drugs till side effects got to bad. Also had about 30 radiation treatments |

Not so great. The adriamycin took a toll on the heart. She had a pace maker put in this week.. still very short winded.But one tough cookie. |

Have researched since my mothers dx date of Sept.2001..Not much luck..It is very rare for endometrial cancer to metastize..Thank God...She originally had cancer in 1995 and her doctor said it was a walk in the park..Never had another thought about it after her hysterotomy. Could never prove it but would bet every thing I owned that her recurrance occured because the same doctor let her take hormone pills after her original treatment. |
