my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer on 2/16/2004 then my mum was diagnosed with uterine cancer on 2/20/2006 she had surgery on 3/21/2006 and the doctors found that the cancer had spread to her cervix even though she had 2 previous pap smear tests 3 weeks prior to diagnosis and both were clear she had vaginal bleeding and decided to get it checked as she had gone through menopause about 10 years ago we are just lucky that she did because if she didnt who knows what might have happened |

she had a full hysterectomy taking eveything and has to have radiation |

she has her ups and downs but hopefully she will be ok she is very concerned that the cancer will return she now loves every moment she has with her 10 grandchildren |

my dad has survivced the cancer with no other treatment other than removing the prostate now my mum knows what he went through and is more sympathetic towards him if he gets down |
