Cancer Type: THROAT
Diagnosis: My husbands tonsils had been swollen so they were removed and found out he had squamous cell carcinoma, stagee three
Chemo Drugs: He had another surgery to remove surrounding tissue of throat and part of his soft palate was removed.He then had his teeth removed (recommended before start of radiation therapy). He just finished 8 weeks of radiation.
Treatment: Jim has done well although he is still very sore and still is on a liquid diet. Since his first diagnoses he has been drinking essiac tea and he believes that (and God's mercy) has made undergoing radiation a little bit easier to bear
