Cancer Type: THROAT
Diagnosis: My friend age 43, female, has been diagnosed with Stage 111, squalmous cell cancer. They are giving her two choices, l) removal of tongue, voice box and a lot of neck and throat, 2) chemo or radiation. How serious is this disease? She wasn't a smoker. Is there anyone out there that can give me some insight? Thank you. Joan
