Diagnosis: I have had surgery to remove the small tumour found in the salivery gland of the tongue I am I am postoperative 4 weeks into care and do not need radiation treatment but I am very depressed at my lispy speech and having to eat blended foods I was wondering if anyone out there could perhaps share a similare experience with me eg will my speech improve will eating return to normal I would be grateful if someone could share with me by the way i have been a non smoker and non drinker all my life so am feeling very bitter

Treatment: As described above
Quality of Life: Held back by the belief as i had no syptoms whatsover the dentist found the small ulcer I am full of remorse at having been railroaded into surgery I feel maybe that i could have gone on for some years and am unable to cry I can walk around fine everything else of me is heatlty but I cannot concentrate for long
