Cancer Type: UTERINE
Diagnosis: Endometrial Adenocarcinoma stage IIIa grade 1-3

Chemo Drugs: Carbo/Taxol 6 treatments - 1 every three weeks I have completed two of these. Had a serious reaction to the first Taxol infusion, but they were able to control it with steroids
Treatment: Complete Hysterectomy with both tubes and ovaries removed. Cancer cells were found in the abdominal wash. After Chemo I will have 5 weeks of external radiation, then 3 treatments of internal radiation.
Quality of Life: So far so good. I have lot of bone pain the weekend after chemo, and feel very fatigued the week after chemo. I am still recovering from the hysterectomy, but that gets better every day. Being bald is interesting, but I am getting used to it.
