Cancer Type: UTERINE
Diagnosis: Stage IV Endometrious Palliary Serous Adecarinoma
Chemo Drugs: 1 Taxol, deadly allergic to it the second time, 9 carboplatins,
second recurrence- 3 carbos and later 3 doxils
Treatment: This is an update from my first time around, then recurrence in March of 2003, and 2 1/2 months my tumor grew back, and then radiation. Had cancer in the bones also, and 29 radiation, then 3 doxils, which I ended up huge blisters on one feet and scalded feet
Quality of Life: My quality of life has been fairly good. Still continued to work, but had recurrence after recurrence.
Information Gathering:
General Comments: Just wanted to update my information on this. I am still alive after 5 years. Am now retired and taking it easy. It has been a long journey and am so thankful that I am still alive. Others around me with cancer have gone on.
